EDF phone numbers

Edited by Richard BarkerChecked 13 October 2026 to 14 October 2026

EDF publishes 6 numbers for you to call and 56 numbers it says it may call you from on its own website. We list each one with the page it is on (2 pages in all), a short quote from that page and the date we checked it.

Numbers EDF says it may call you from

EDF lists these 56 numbers on its own website. A call showing one of them is not proof it is EDF, because numbers can be faked.

Names and numbers EDF says it texts from

A text showing one of these is not proof it is EDF, because senders can be faked. Other organisations' text senders.

How scams that copy energy suppliers and networks work

UK Finance says criminals pose as organisations such as utility companies, claiming you must settle a fine, pay a bill or return a refund paid by mistake. Ofgem warns that scammers may contact you by phone, text, email, social media or at your door, pretending to be from Ofgem or an energy company.

This could still be a scam call

Criminals can make their number look like a genuine one (this is called spoofing). If someone calls from this number and asks for money, bank details, a code or passwords, hang up. Then call EDF back on a number you've found yourself, such as the one on their own website or on a letter or bill from them.
