Ask us to clear reports about your number
If a number on this site is yours, or you act for the person or business that uses it, you can ask us to clear the visitor reports about it. A person reads every request.
What we do with your request
- Visitor reports here are choices from a fixed list, such as “Sales or marketing”. There are no comments, so there is no text about you to remove.
- When we accept a request we clear the visitor reports on the number and stop its summary from showing. The page then shows only the Ofcom facts and is not offered to search engines.
- We may email you to ask you to show that you use the number.
- We cannot remove the general facts about the number range (for example that it is a mobile number, which area a code covers, or which provider Ofcom allocated the block to). These come from Ofcom's published numbering data, not from visitors.
How long it takes
We aim to reply within 5 working days. A number page shows no visitor summary until 3 different visitors have reported the number, and until then it is not offered to search engines. We use your email address only to deal with this request; see our privacy policy.
